Weir Techna represents the process technology division of the Weir Group PLC, contracting to international markets in desalination, water and effluent treatment, concentration, drying and crystallization, chilling and heat recovery systems.
Weir Techna (SA), approaches challenges from a process-engineering viewpoint and is active in the areas of process development, consulting, plant design, equipment supply, installation, commissioning and operation.
Focusing on product and market development and utilizing state of the art laboratoory and pilot plant facilities, Weir Techna continually expands this knowledge base. The technology base spans thermal and membrane separation, IX, biological & oxidative treatments. Thermal equipment on offer includes evaporators, crystallizers and driers. All engineering disciplines are represented in the Johannesburg offices.
Weir Techna (SA) is currently expanding its skills base and team in Johannesburg in order to continually improve services to clients, and uses the technology base as a springboard for worldwide market development in cooperation with its sister companies within the Techna Division.
