Water means trouble, finding ways of managing to sneak into your bulk storage tanks and hydraulic/ lube circuits. Although water in fuel or lubricants is often hidden from the naked eye, and its inert properties supposedly render it ""harmless"", water can be extremely detrimental to most systems. Minimizing water contamination will maximize performance, increase fuel efficiency, increase productivity and extend machine life.
Using patented technology, Donaldson developed a new method for preventing the ingression of humid air into bulk fuel and oil containers.
The TRAP (Thermally Reactive Advanced Protection) Breather, as the name suggests, traps water before it gets in, yet does not restrict air flow, and allows your bulk fuel or oil container to breathe. They are the only breathers that literally strip moisture vapour from intake air and exhale the moisture back into the atmosphere on the outflow cycle. It continuously regenerates its water holding capacity and it lasts longer.
