Chemical Technology - February 2009

February 2009

The Drum Valve Closed Liquid Dispensing System from Micro Matic South Africa will become the standard for liquid chemical dispensing from drums and containers.

The system offers a safe closed method of dispensing liquid chemicals from plastic or mild steel drums, stainless steel containers and kegs as well as Intermediate Bulk Containers.

In Closed-Liquid-Dispensing, (known as CLD), the drum valve system transforms single-trip containers into round-trip refillable containers. The drum valve system is a closed system. The robust stainless steel extractor valve remains in the container during the filling process and after dispensing thus ensuring the internal integrity of the contents and enabling refilling. This round-trip refilling cycle saves time and reduces effluent disposal due to the elimination of the rinsing cycle which also saves energy.

Micro Matic SA offers Drum Valves, couplers and closed liquid dispensing systems from stock in Cape Town and will also provide engineered solutions for individual applications as well as support throughout Africa.
