Reducing global carbon footprint

Hulamin has supplied tons of aluminium products to Cape Town stadium, as well as to the rest of South Africa's prestigious 2010 FIFA World Cup projects. Apart from being 100% recyclable, aluminium has many other facets which contribute to the reduction of the global carbon footprint.

Unbottling a bottleneck

The Koeberg Interchange experiences some of the heaviest traffic of all of Cape Town's interchanges as this is where the N1 and M5 highways intersect. With about 200 000 vehicles passing through its network every day, the extensive Koeberg Interchange project is set to alleviate the flow of traffic significantly.

Upgrading informal settlements

Locally manufactured retaining blocks have assisted with the upgrading of informal settlements.

Fast track stadium

The Peter Mokaba stadium in Polokwane is one of 10 host venues for an estimated 3,5 million spectators during the 2010 FIFA World Cup and one of the five newly built stadia.
