CITECT SCADA in Sasol Coal's main control roomWhen you control the raw material feed to the plant which produces a large percentage of South Africa's petrol, you need a reliable system. Sasol Coal has installed the CITECT SCADA system, which provides for uninterrupted supply of feedstock to the factory. This 20 000 I/O 40 node system was designed, installed and commissioned in only two months just before Y2K and is a tribute to the ease of configuration and solid structure of the CITECT system.
