Developments in shaft encoder technology have resulted in encoders that make electronic control of processes involving shafts revolving at high speeds truly practical. Recently launched in South Africa by Countapulse Controls is the CoreTech series of shaft encoders from Stegmann in Germany. The introduction of CoreTech technology will allow Countapulse Controls to provide customer specific application encoders ex-stock. Countapulse Controls offers a full technical advisory service on effective application of shaft encoders, as well as a broad range of opto-electronic and other sensors and control systems.
