Lighting Innovations has a new light design and office space in the Kramerville design precinct, near Sandton. At a cocktail function celebrating the move to the company’s new premises, MD Craig Waddell said that this was the second major event for the company in the past six months, the first being the purchase of Lighting Innovations by Swedish lighting company Fagerhult in November last year.
Illuminated entirely by locally designed and manufactured LED luminaires, the functional, welcoming space allows clients to view the fittings to best effect, while illustrating the competency of Lighting Innovation’s manufacturing facility. The offices are mostly separated by glass walls to facilitate interaction and there is a high level of natural light, which further enhances the mood and desirability of the work space. Customers are invited to use the space for meetings with their own clients.
Lighting Innovations is a technical architectural lighting company that places high emphasis on quality lighting solutions and has served as a market leader to provide the latest lighting industry trends to the Southern African market for the past 25 years.
In 2013, the company moved its production and design facilities to Port Elizabeth. There the custom built factory is equipped with the latest manufacturing equipment including a laser cutter, automated wiring and precision CNC machines and a semi-automated powder coating plant.
