Svedala Industries is acquiring the bulk material operation of Strachan & Henshaw to consolidate a combined supplier base. The Svedala Group has its own sales companies in 50 countries, with annual sales of approximately SEK 15 billion and about 11 000 employees worldwide. Since its establishment in 1988, Svedala has acquired in excess of 140 companies. The acquisition aims to boost market penetration of Strachan & Henshaw products and promote greater worldwide market support.
