Trident Steel's newly installed Hi-Performance plasma machine has greatly improved on the company's cut quality and consumable lifetime. Installed and commissioned by Kya Sands-based Messer Eutectic SA (Pty) Ltd, the project involved the procurement of two 8 800 mm-wide portal bridge machines. Each portal machine is fitted with three HPR 260 Hi-Performance plasma cutting units, both running one common 78 m-long track. See article on page 4.
