Steinmuller - whose Chamdor fabrication facility was put on ice in 2002 - has now established a new state-of-the-art factory in Pretoria West and is currently ramping up production for Medupi unit six. MechTech visits the site and talks to Hermann Brummer, managing director; Bob Stevens, business consultant; Hans-J Leister, management consultant and Gerrit Buitenbos, quality assurance manager about the facilities and Steinmuller's future role in the power generation, petrochemical, mining and industrial sectors.
