AfriSam's employees have brought warmth to over 400 disadvantaged individuals through their blanket drive initiative this winter. Launched in April, the project is part of AfriSam's ongoing employee involvement programme, through which employees are active participants in giving back to the community. The Mbeu programme aims to further the company's vision of building strong foundations in the communities in which it operates.

In just one month, 405 blankets were collected for underprivileged communities: the Dirang ka Kagiso home in Bophelong; the Lebohang home for the mentally disabled in Sebokeng; the Florama Old Age Home in Roodepoort and the Refilwe Community Project in Lanseria.
