Southern African centre for the coordination and development of knowledge transfer programmes and skills development in bituminous product technology in pavements, the Asphalt Academy, is presenting a one-day sustainable asphalt practices course on Tuesday 1 June.
The course will provide practitioners with a detailed and practical insight into the latest technologies being developed and investigated for the sustainability of asphalt practice. The course covers the latest local and international practice related to high modulus asphalt, reclaimed asphalt and recycled asphalt pavements. Also warm mix asphalt, and bitumen rubber asphalt as well as bitumen modifiers to improve deformation resistance.
The course is targeted at practitioners operating at NQF level 4 and above. One CPD credit will be given to attendees.
