BMG Hydraulics has been appointed as a distributor - throughout South Africa and sub Saharan Africa - of the Enerpac range of hydraulic cylinders, pumps and related products. "This distribution agreement forms part of BMG's strategic plan, which is to broaden the Group's product offering and solutions capability in the marketplace," says Mark Johnson, national sales manager for BMG Hydraulics, part of the Bearing Man Group. New to Becker Mining Africa's Simplex range of hydraulic and mechanical equipment are heavy duty air-over-hydraulic power pumps, designed for safe and reliable lifting and positioning of industrial equipment. Goodyear has announced that the latest Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 has been chosen by Mercedes-Benz for fitment on the exclusive new high performance CLS four-door coupe. The company worked with many premium car manufacturers during the development of this flagship tyre, and the Mercedes-Benz CLS approval is the first announcement from the thirty current OE projects for the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2.
The tyre will be supplied in the 255/40R18 size for the recently launched Mercedes-Benz, just weeks after the international launch of the tyre, where the CLS was chosen to demonstrate the tyre's performance on the demanding Monteblanco race circuit in Spain.
Goscor Power Products (GPP), distributor of Subaru engines has geared up for the planting season with the development of a brand new ‘long-coupled' liquid fertiliser pump, which can be powered by either its robust Subaru EY20 engine or its Premium Series Subaru EX engines in 5,0 hp, 6,0 hp and 7,0 hp options.
