On the 28th July 2011, after 27 years in the petroleum industry, Blue Chip Lubricants celebrated the launch of their first environmentally friendly lubricants product range called PURE LUBRRICANTS. The launch was held at the Eagle Canyon Golf Club, and earmarked the beginning of a new 'green' era in the local lubricants industry.

Blue Chip Lubricants can now proudly state that they too are doing their part in saving our environment. The PURE range of lubricants and grease are biodegradable, making it a necessity for the mining, agriculture, forestry and other industrial industries which work close to the environment.

When using the PURE Lubricants range, industries do not need to worry about the negative consequences and extra costs for spillage clean ups, as this product is made from a vegetable oil and is biodegradable.

Blue Chip Lubricants recently moved to bigger manufacturing facilities in Kya Sands. They blend all their products with 100% virgin base oils and do their own bottling and labeling on the premises, which helps make them very price competitive.

In 2009 they successfully launched their first Blue Chip Lubricants franchise. To date they have many Lubricant Franchises operating nationally and plan to roll out many more before the end of this year.
