The Goscor Group in South Africa has signed an agreement with George Landsberg and the other shareholders of Hi-Reach Manlift (Pty) Ltd to acquire a majority shareholding in the company.

Left to right: Anton Bothma (Goscor Power Products), George Landsberg (MD Goscor Hi-Reach), Neil Wilson (CEO Goscor Group), Eleanor Gilmour and Martin Welmans.
This will allow Goscor, part of Imperial Holding,s to enter the Work at Height equipment industry and with this acquisition, to represent one of the top two international manufacturers of access equipment, Genie Industries.
George has been involved with the access industry from the early days when he started up a very successful access rental company called Johnson Access. However these days he (and the rest of his team) is exclusively committed to the distribution of Genie and Hy-Brid access equipment, telescopic handlers, light towers and material lifts. They also do extensive servicing and repairs on their product range including all spares, refurbishments and rebuilds.
George has just returned from Maastricht in the Netherlands where they signed a new extended distribution agreement with Genie Industries for their ongoing distribution rights across Sub-Saharan Africa.
He and his team will continue to run the Goscor Hi-Reach operation from its location in Alrode, South Africa but with the added footprint of the Goscor Group, they are looking at a new exciting growth path.
