Considered the most suitable coupling for zero backlash, the ABP FSXK 3019 coupling is designed to be flexible while remaining torsionally strong under high torque loads. Offering a torsionally rigid mechanical interface, this innovative spring disc coupling is suitable for shaft diameters up to 10 mm.
Essentially a spring disc coupling is a high performance motion control coupling designed to be the torque transmitting element by connecting two shafts together while accommodating for shaft misalignment. Available from Countapulse Controls, this spring disc coupling will ensure optimal shaft displacement offset.
The ABP FSXK 3019 spring disc coupling (seen left) has a length of only 18,3 mm and is ideal for use in application where small clearances exist. The robust spring membranes are made of stainless steel and are connected with a clamp jaw with secured Torx-screws. The robust mechanical construction also guarantees an angle-synchronism transmission of the rotation. Even in critical applications it is capable of functioning at revolutions of up to 12 000 rpm without any need for concern making this a great solution for high-speed applications.
