Hitachi has announced the H8/3802 Series, an extremely low cost, low power device that completes the popular H8/300L 8-Bit Microcontroller Family. The H8/3802 incorporates an onboad LCD Controller and asynchronous event counter and boasts an extremely fast oscillator start up time that reduces power consumption to 1.8 V.
Available from Hitachi is a complete evaluation kit for the H8/3644F, 8-Bit microcontroller featuring on -vhip flash. Hitachi's liquid crystal displays include: Monochrome STN LCD modules and active matrix colour LCD modules.
