The EPCOS product range covers all standard frequency bands - its SAW filters in the IF stages of TV sets, tuners and mobile phones ensure brilliant colour and sound reproduction.
The extensive range of highly compact SMD ceramic capacitors couples signals into the RF, IF and LF stages in all consumers electronics and applications. Tantalum capacitors block undesired hum and noise from the signal paths. Varistors of various types and voltage classes prevent over-voltages from destroying sensitive antenna input stages.
Careful management of resources and the environment is another major concern at EPCOS. The broad range of inductors, electrolytic and film capacitors helps to implement long-life power supply systems and switched-mode power supplies with high efficiencies and favourable EMC (electro-magnetic compliance) characteristics.
