The Hitachi H8/3664 is the first member of the H8/300H 'Tiny' series microcontroller family. It offers a combination of on-chip flash and a powerful 16-bit CPU combined with high performance peripherals. This provides an unbeatable level of performance in such a low cost device. The H8/3664 is manufactured in a variety of 'Tiny' packages, as well as a variety of mask versions for cost-sensitive applications.
Also available from Hi-Q is the LEM3664 low cost emulation module, the new development tool for the H8/300H 'Tiny' series. Designed and manufactured in Europe, it is aimed at providing a complete low-cost development solution for this series.
To complement their line of Hitachi microcontrollers, Hi-Q has announced the recently acquired Jauch Quartz line of frequency control products. Jauch Quartz offers a range of crystals, oscillators, resonators and ceramic filters.
