CST Electronics (Pty) Ltd is part of the Electrocomp Holdings Group and is a distributor to the South African Electronic Manufacturing market. They are well known for representing Dallas Semiconductor, and for the past few years taking on and growing the Maxim Integrated Products line.
The iButton range of products is used for ID, Storage, Data Logging and special function (housed in the famous robust Metal Can). These are also distributed to System Integrators, as well as to the OEM manufacturers.
CST continues to represent and establish other niche and general purpose manufacturers. Their other key lines are AMIC (Memory), Davicom (Ethernet), Golledge (Frequency Products), Melexis (Wireless Hall Sensor, Lin Bus and other), Nais (Relays), EiC Corp (RF Power Modules), Quantum Research Group (Touch Proximity Sensors) and WJ Communications (RF Amps, FETs and Mixers).
