December 2006

This year S.A. Connector and Cable Solutions (Pty) Ltd commences its 30th anniversary.

Life for SACCS began back in 1976 when Technor was formed by Dennis Rishworth. By 1994, Molex Inc (USA) had acquired a majority shareholding in Technor and the name of the company was changed to Molex (Pty) Ltd.

In 2001 Molex (Pty) Ltd acquired Van Dyk Cable Assemblies in Brits and the name was changed to S.A. Connector and Cable Solutions (Pty) Ltd (SACCS). The relationship with Molex remains very strong, and SACCS remains the Exclusive Representative in South Africa.

SACCS is now pleased to advise that it has recently completed a broad based black economic empowerment deal which is believed to not only add great value to the company, but will allow access to markets which have been previously difficult o penetrate. The company's philosophy is to proceed with confidence towards the future of both the industry and of South Africa. For additional information turn to page 4.
