Twenty years ago, A C 'Mike' Markkula, co-founder of Apple, Inc., established Echelon® with a very simple idea: ""If extremely small computers were installed everywhere to observe their local environment and exchange the collected data with each other, whole industries could be changed.""
Today, devices are linked in networks worldwide thanks to this technology, so that they can introduce intelligence into the infrastructure and enable progress in many different industries.
EBV and Echelon: a successful team Echelon has been established for 20 years and EBV Electrolink has been selling Echelon products for over 17 years - now exclusively for the EMEA area. During these years, EBV Electrolink has built-up a widely dispersed network of trained Echelon specialists in locations across the entire EMEA region. Furthermore, EBV is actively represented in various LonMark organisations in Europe.
