The new Rapid Duro 3
is the first STIHL .325“
saw chain with carbide
teeth. It stays sharp
at least four times
longer than a standard
saw chain without
resharpening, even
when working under
extreme conditions.
The chain can be
recognised by the gold
premium colour of the
cutters.
cement-encrusted formwork or sand and mud on the firewood,
are not a problem. The Rapid Duro 3 stays sharp at least four
times longer than a standard chainsaw, even when working under
extreme conditions.
In addition, innovative design details ensure convenience and
comfortable operation. The humped drive link in front of each cutter
guides the cutter smoothly and gently into the timber, thus improving
the chain‘s smooth running and reducing its tendency to kick back.
Furthermore, a bevel on the bottom of the cutter allows the cutters
to tilt backward when sawing, to absorb vibration, reducing it by up
to 30 per cent compared with standard chains. The optimised STIHL
Oilomatic lubrication systemwith oil channels and recesses in the drive
links, improves chain lubrication, contributing to an extended service
life. The new Rapid Duro 3 saw chain is available in various drive link
sizes from 1.3 to 1.6mm and in bar lengths between 32 and 40cm.
Swiss precision for perfect co-ordination
