Sparks Electrical News - June 2010

June 2010

The Competition Commission raided the premises of four Gauteng-based electric cable manufacturers on suspicion of price fixing, market allocation and collusive tendering.

Keith Weeks, manager, enforcement and exemptions at the Competition Commisson said any company found guilty of these offences could be fined up to 10% of their annual turnover.

The staff at Power Process Systems went all out to show their support of Bafana Bafana, decorating their building with the various nations' flags and wearing their soccer outfits every Friday during the build up to the Fifa World Cup 2010.
