Lighting exhibition get thumbs up

Crown Publications' Lighting in Design Pavilion at Decorex Joburg set a new standard for the lighting industry in South Africa. From funky to functional, more than 30 well known lighting companies exhibited a wide range of lighting technologies - technical luminaires and lamps, designer luminaires and lighting components and accessories.
"The response from visitors was overwhelming," said Jenny Warwick, publisher at Crown Publications. "While some companies reported that large orders were signed, many others said they had made useful contacts and that the exposure was most valuable."

Launch of ERIC postponed

The launch of ERIC - Electrical Registration and Inspection Council has been postponed "until a later date". The launch - which was set to take place in conjunction with a symposium and mini-exhibition - was planned for 18 August.
