THE ECA(SA) has reacted to some adverse reaction from electrical contractors after Carte Blanche's recent exposé on electrical contractors in Gauteng.
In the television programme, aired on MNet on July 3, seven electricians were asked to diagnose and repair a fault but only two managed to get it right.
"It appears that many electrical contractors are under the impression that the ECA(SA) was involved in the selection criteria, and that parts of the show were fixed thereby resulting in good publicity for Electric Mann," says Chris Greager, national director: operations for Electrical Contractors' Association (SA).
