The new PM15 pressure sensor from ifm has a unique flush sealing concept. This allows for hygienic integration of small ceramic-capacitive measuring cells in small pipes – in dosing and filling systems, for example – which was not previously possible.

The robust G 1/2 pressure sensor is designed for use in hygienic applications.

With a G 1/2 thread, the pressure sensor can be installed without requiring expensive adapters. Flush fitting makes it possible to use the sensor with viscous media and ensures optimum results in CIP processes. For each sensor a factory certificate is available at no cost and can be downloaded.

On the process side, the PM15 pressure sensor is maintenance-free because it does not have an elastomer seal. The flush and robust ceramic measuring cell is resistant to pressure and vacuum shocks and to the impacts of abrasive substances. The sensor is resistant to medium temperatures of up to 150°C, for a maximum of one hour.
