Following the first running last year, Water Security Africa will again take place alongside Enlit Africa this year, bringing water and energy decision-makers together at one shared location at the Cape Town International Convention Centre. This co-location reflects the interconnect between these critical systems within the broader infrastructure ecosystem.

The co-location of Water Security Africa and Enlit Africa 2026 reflects the interconnection of these critical infrastructure systems.

From 19 to 21 May 2026, Water Security Africa will deliver focused, practical content for leaders responsible for water resilience, infrastructure investment, operational performance and sustainability, offering access to Enlit Africa at the same time.

Water Security Africa presents a dedicated water conference and exhibition within Africa’s leading power and energy infrastructure event. The programme will include two specialised water tracks, CPD-accredited sessions and hands-on workshops

Water infrastructure, water treatment, non-revenue water, desalination, water reuse will be in focus, within the context of the water-energy nexus. The programme will also explore expanded networking opportunities across utilities, municipalities, industry, finance and technology providers.

With some 7 200+ water and energy professionals at the same venue, the co-location is intended to enable cross-sector conversations –  ranging from infrastructure funding and policy alignment to implementation and technology deployment.
