Kri is derived from the Sanskrit meaning ‘to do’ and lux of course refers to the measurement of illumination. Aiming to set itself apart from other lighting companies, Krilux Lighting offers a range of lamps in addition to LEDs as they believe there is a market for other applications.

Innovative products from Krilux LightingHaving spent the past 22 years visiting lighting factories, the Krilux team understands quality and has ensured that its entire range adheres to the strictest quality measures. “We like to be innovative and develop products to save our customers time and money,” explains Krisen Pillay. “A good example is our GU10 Day/Night sensor and GU10 motion sensor range; we believe we are the first to introduce this technology in this particular base.”

The company places emphasis on its packaging which includes detailed information about each product so that users are fully aware of what they are buying and what to expect from each product. “Light packaging is very important; buyers or end users look at this before purchasing the product, and that is why we make sure that all the technical information we state on our packaging is true. The test reports are done at a QC facility before being imported, and we then use this information on our boxes. We also make sure that PF and CRI are all above our requirements,” explains Pillay.

As for future plans. Pillay says that the company is always looking to expand into other ranges. “Our customers prefer to keep Krilux and are continuously asking for more. At this moment we are expanding into electrical accessories as it complements our current lamp range.”
