ZCCM Investment Holdings plc (ZCCM-IH) has announced that its shareholders have voted overwhelmingly in favour of the resolution in support of the pursuant to which ZCCM-IH will acquire 90% of Mopani Copper Mines from Carlisa Investment Corp (Carlisa), as represented by Glencore plc.
The EGM and the vote on the resolution is the last condition precedent, and as such the transaction was completed on March 31, 2021. ZCCM-IH now holds 100% ownership of Mopani.
