The WOLFF trademark
One of the major pioneering achievements:
WOLFFKRAN made crane design modular. In the
1960s, the Heilbronn-based company was the first
to design the flexible, climbable tower system which,
together with the ground-breaking, assemble-friendly
slug bolt connections, belongs to the trademark of the
red WOLFF cranes.
The towers are not assigned to a single crane type
but are compatible with one another and can be
combined.
For customers this means secure investments. The modular
system enables them to individually assemble their cranes,
or fleet of cranes, to suit their needs as is economically
viable.
All you need is…WOLFF
From the former customised cranes for special
construction projects, such as dams, bridges and
harbour installations, WOLFFKRAN has developed
a broad product portfolio and today manufactures
a total of 30 different luffing and trolley jib tower
cranes, that can be used for almost every construction
project, from skyscrapers to wind turbines.
The current 100mt to 1500mt range is being steadily
expanded in response to the demands of the market.
According to the motto:
All you need is… ‘WOLFF’,
the premium manufacturer offers each of its sales
and rental customers the most suitable crane, from
S to XXL.
Long-term customer relations
The WOLFFKRAN customer base is now as extensive as
its product range. Owing to the unique modular design
of the WOLFF cranes, customer relations at WOLFFKRAN
are geared to the long term. Once acquired, modules can
be combined in a variety of different ways; older elements
can still be used today.
Supplementary parts can be purchased or rented from
WOLFFKRAN at any time.
Besides WOLFFKRAN’s pioneering technology, it is
precisely this future-orientated business model that has
led major international crane rental companies – as well
as medium-sized enterprises and customers with special
projects – to place their trust in the product diversity and
innovation capability from Heilbronn. “The company’s
founders attached great importance to customer-focused,
uncomplicated solutions. Subsequent generations have
consistently pursued this strategy and built up a market
leadership,” says Dr Peter Schiefer, who has been
managing WOLFFKRAN’s business for the past eight
years. “We are proud of our history and are consistently
investing in future innovations and advanced technology
to consolidate our position as a technology leader in the
next 100 years and beyond.”
