The new GRW 12 E Professional and GRW 18-2 E Professional stirrers
ensure minimal splatter thanks to the variable stirring speed. Bosch
Industrial Power Tools senior brand manager Craig Berridge reveals
that the frame handle design ensures low user fatigue, even when used
over long periods.
“Both stirrers are the ideal tools for any mixing application. The powerful
motors allow for the fast mixing of a variety of materials used by profes-
sionals, including paint, varnish and plaster.
The universal M14 tool handler ensures that accessory changes are quick
and easy,” he explains.
The GRW 12 E Professional stirrer features a 1200 W motor
and has a maximum paddle diameter of 140 mm with a
maximummixing volume of 50 kg. It has one-speed setting
and is ideal for stirring low to medium viscosity materials. It
is best suited for use with paint, varnish, adhesive and grout.
Berridge points out that the GRW 18-2 E Professional has
a maximum paddle diameter of 180 mm and a maximummixing volume of
80 kg. It also has a powerful 1 800 Wmotor with a two-speed gearbox. “The
first gear runs at 450 rpm, allowing the user to stir thicker viscosity
substances, such as plaster, mortar and putty. The second gear
operates at amuch higher speed of 1 050 rpm, and is ideal for
thinner viscosity materials, including paste and grouting,”
he concludes.
