Process Expo Africa 2013
is around the corner, and
with South Africa’s leading Automation, Control,
Instrumentation and Information Technology providers
collectively preparing a display of products and solu-
tions on over 2000m2 of floor space in Hall 5 at
JHB
Expo Centre, Nasrec
this year, you need to mark the
dates
Tuesday, 21 – Thursday, 23
May 2013, from 9am to 4pm daily
in your diary!
Proudly incorporating the
Process Training Academy
along-
side the Expo once again this year,
we invite you to book free training
sessions presented by leading com-
panies and experts in our industry,
covering an array of topics across
the C&I spectrum every hour from
Tuesday, 21 May at 9am through to
Thursday, 23 May at 3pm.
In the light of many demands
we face on a daily basis leading
our organisations in weathering
the economy, maintaining and growing business and
being innovative and skilled adequately to compete in
the market place, another exciting highlight at Process
Expo Africa this year will be the appearance of our
guest speaker at the official opening of the event on
Tuesday 21 May – none other than
Former President
of SA and Nobel Peace Prize winner Mr F W de Klerk.
Since retiring from politics in 1997, Mr de Klerk has been
very active in the international speech and conference
circuit. He delivers many presentations in the USA and
Europe and regularly attends international conferences
where he is a much sought after speaker on the topics
“Multicultural Communities, Negotiations and Change
Management”.
Another not-to-miss feature at this year’s Expo is
the award-winning, much talked about solar powered
car displayed by the Faculty of
Engineering at Tswhane University
of Technology, which won
“Longest Distance in a Day”; “Most
Re-Engineered” and third place over-
all at the FIA Alternative Energy Cup
/ SA Solar Challenge in 2012.
This year it’s all about innovation,
solutions, training, leadership and
most importantly mastery – the pro-
foundly satisfying feeling when one
finally gets on top of a new set of
skills, and then sees the light under
the new door those skills can open,
even as another door is closing.
