P
rofessional Illumination Design was ap-
proached by a wonderfully creative interior
design practice to collaborate with them on
the design and manufacture of a large ‘Chandelier’
to be commissioned for one of their projects. They
had seen some of our work; were impressed and
the connection was made.
The work was to include installation, which
was in an atrium space in Kingsbury Hospital,
Claremont, CapeTown. The glass skylight over the
atrium is 12.5 m high and the triple volume space
extends over around 120 m
2
.
We understood that Rumour Has It interior de-
signers were approaching other firms to come up
