rue to the fair’s motto ‘The peak of excellence’,
Kögel will be presenting product highlights which
meet the demands of the construction industry:
Quality and reliability.
Two-axle tipper trailer
The highlight of the bauma at the Kögel stand is the
two-axle tipper trailer with its 24m³ load volume. In
this exhibit, Kögel will be showing off a clever mix of
materials with a 4mm-thick Hardox-450 base trough
and side walls made from aluminium. The advantage
of the steel trough, with lightweight walls, as compared
to the purely aluminium trough, is that it can be
used continuously for more than ten years, whilst the
aluminium trough needs expensive repair work every
two to three years. The two-axle tipper is available in
two versions, with a load volume of 24m³ or 27m³.
It is particularly suited to the hardest of applications
on building sites and in gravel pits. Naturally, the two-
axle tipper trailer with aluminium walls is optionally
available in different floor thickness combinations.
Three-axle tipper trailer
In the atrium, Kögel will be presenting a three-axle
tipper trailer with a load volume of 27m³. The exhibited
model is the variant with a 4mm thick floor, back wall
made from tempered Hardox-450 steel, and side walls
made from extra-strong, 3mm S7090 steel sheet. The
tipper trailer has an impressive range of innovative
features for use during daily building work. For
example, a five-stage tipping cylinder with an angle
of 48 degrees helps to provide quicker unloading. The
27m³ tipper trailer is also available in various different
wall thickness combinations. Thanks to the modular
concept, simple, quick and cost-effective replacement
of the tipper body components is possible at any time.
There is no need to fit expensive wear plates.
Multi
This extremely flexible trailer is particularly suitable
for the building materials transport business and for
weather-resistant freight. The platform semi-trailer has
Kögel: Full construction portfolio
At this year’s bauma in Munich, Kögel will be presenting its portfolio for the construction industry for the
first time since 2004. Visitors will be able to experience Kögel’s wide range of construction products at the
Kögel stand and in the atrium between Halls A4/A5 and B4/B5. The exhibits are optimally tailored to the
requirements of the sector and offer lasting added value in various regards.
a reinforced chassis and a semi-trailer load of 15 tons
in order to meet the increased load requirements in
the construction industry. The aluminium drop sides are
easy to remove from the hinges. This makes the Multi
ideal for transporting different building materials such
as steel mesh, goods on pallets, and concrete parts.
The exhibition piece is fitted with Kögel’s new, optional
MODULASI load-securing system and has a show load
which is restrained accordingly.
Flat-bed semi-trailer
The welded flat-bed semi-trailer has an impressive
offset plateau, high tapered bed, and low tare
weight. This makes it ideal for transporting diggers,
wheeled loaders, construction machines, and heavy
implements. Thanks to a moveable king pin, the flat-
bed trailer is perfect for two and three-axle tractor units.
The exhibited model shows off the standard corrosion
protection feature: The frame of the three-axle flat-bed
semi-trailer is sand-blasted, primed, and fully painted.
The drive-up ramps are hot-dip galvanised. Optionally,
the frame of the Kögel three-axle flat-bed semi-trailer
can also be hot-dip galvanised.
