Nico says that his focus during
the term is three-fold:
1. Ensure that the RFA is
run as a professional
organisation that
will add value to its
members
2. Improve stakeholder
relationships and
3. Ensure that the powerful
lobbying platform of the
RFA is used to its full potential.
“Our industry is facing significant challenges such as
rising input costs (fuel, tolls, permits etc). These need
to be addressed through the vital lobbying platform
that the RFA provides,” he says.

Andiswa Ndoni has been appointed Executive
Director Legal and Secretarial with effect from
14 March 2013. She holds a B.Proc, LLB, a Post
Graduate Diploma in Business Management and a
certificate in Corporate Governance.
She was previously at Ubank Limited as Company
Secretary and Legal Advisor. She was also the CEO
of the BLA Legal Education Centre, Senior Assistant
State Attorney, director of the School of Legal Practice
in East London and a director of Ndoni Inc. Andiswa
is a member of the Judicial
Services Commission and
the Competition Tribunal.

ith BMG’s acquisition of Man-Dirk last year, the
company has significantly extended its service in
the tooling and equipment sector.
BMG’s new retail concept offers its diverse customer
base the convenience of hand picking and choosing
from a wide range of tooling products, available off the
shelf. The products include quality brands like Gedore,
Metabo, Bosch, Klingspor, Wera, Fluke, Megger, Atlas
Copco, Ingersol Rand, Hit, Somta, Bahco, Crescent
and Eclipse products.
Man Dirk’s house brands are Maxpower, John Leo and
JBL, which are widely accepted in various industries,
particularly mining houses.
The new specialist stores also offers a technical advisory
and support service to ensure the correct product is
selected for each specific application.
Other products include hand and power tools, tool kits,
personal protective equipment, locks and lockouts, lifting
equipment and environmental products. The range also
encompasses measuring and testing equipment, welding
and abrasives, as well as cutting and workshop equipment.

which was established

new specialist tooling
and equipment retail
store in Kimberley.

The new Kuruman Customer Service
Centre, which replaces a smaller
older facility, boasts one thousand
square metres under roof with
adequate office space, a spares
department and a workshop with
overhead crane. The workshop can
easily accommodate two Bell B50D
ADTs, the company’s flagship truck.
