How can professionals get involved in
Eskom Expo?
Eskom Expo is using a tried and tested science
intervention of promoting research through project-
based learning. In order to grow the passion in sci-
ence and constantly improve on research capabili-
ties, all professionals in the science fields, especially
engineers, are invited to become involved in one
(or more) of the following ways:
• Become a judge at one of the 31 regional sci-
ence fairs as well as at ISF
• Become amentor to encourage young scientists
to think creatively about their scientific research
• Assist with upgrading projects at regional and
ISF levels
In return Eskom Expo can offer you:
• The satisfaction of making a difference in the
life of a young scientist
• CPD points - approved by your association or
employer
• Written credit for doing community engage-
ment at regional and/ or ISF level and again,
have it approved by your association/ employer
