demolition hammer from the Bosch
Blue range of professional power
tools features the ideal power-to-weight
ratio, which reduces user fatigue and strain,
says Bosch Industrial Power Tools SA senior
brand manager Craig Berridge.
“The GSH 7 VC Professional weighs just
8,4 kg and has a powerful 1 500 W motor
with 13 joules of impact energy. This makes
horizontal and overhead chiselling tasks
easier, allowing work to be completed
quickly and efficiently,” he explains.
For increased user comfort, an optimised
hammer mechanism and decoupled main
and side handles lower vibration. “This
allows for extended operating time of more
than two hours of operation a day per user.
The GSH 7 VC Professional also boasts a
high material removal rate of 240 kg of
concrete per hour, and delivers a consistent
working performance,” adds Berridge.
The Bosch GSH 7 VC Professional features
a speed controller which enables the user to
adjust the force of impact to suit a specific
application. A Vario-lock system allows the
chisel to be fitted to the tool in 16 different
positions, thereby enabling it to be altered

to suit any specific application. What’s
more, a switch lock increases user comfort,
while the robust metal components and the
hammer mechanism ensure a prolonged
lifetime of the tool. Berridge claims that
there are several accessories available for
the Bosch GSH 7 VC Professional demolition
hammer.
“The ‘RTec Sharp’ SDS-max flat chisels
and the ‘RTec Speed’ pointed chisels
are available from Bosch and are ideally
suited for chiselling with the GSH 7 VC
Professional. They feature a self-sharpening
edge and maintain a consistently high
material removal rate over their lifetime,”
he continues.
The Bosch GSH 7 VC Professional comes
standard with a side handle, RTec Speed
pointed chisel and a carry case for easy and
convenient storage, and is ideally suited for
professional use in numerous industries,
ranging from building and construction, to
plumbing and masonry.
