The new Terex Franna range brought to South Africa, supported by a new parts distribution centre for existing and new equipment.
Concord Access Solutions (CAS) is elevating excellence in lifting solutions with the official opening of its new remanufacturing facility in Chloorkop, East of Johannesburg, marking a major step in expanding its after-sales support and product offering across Southern Africa.
The facility restores a full range of lifting equipment – including, but not limited to, boom lifts, scissor lifts, cherry pickers, light towers, telehandlers, spider cranes and Terex cranes – to like new conditions. Through precision disassembly, inspection, reconditioning and testing, including non-destructive testing, CAS delivers machines rebuilt to meet and exceed original specifications, giving equipment a second life at around 60% of the cost of new machinery.
The launch of the remanufacturing facility also reinforces CAS’s role as the official dealer for Terex Franna cranes in Southern Africa, alongside a new parts distribution centre designed to strengthen after-sales support by improving availability and turnaround times.
This is in addition to its full spectrum of technical expertise in brands like Genie, Terex RT, UNIC, Palazzani and Pramac.
“The unveiling of this world-class facility marks a significant milestone in our commitment to delivering premium lifting solutions and unmatched service support,” says Neil Kendrick, technical director at CAS. “Our turnkey solution enables us to further extend equipment life cycles, ensure safety standards, and ultimately allow the equipment to return to the market as good as new.”
The new parts distribution centre strengthens CAS’s customer promise with faster access to genuine parts, improved stock availability, and reduced downtime across Southern Africa
“Built for demanding environments, Terex Franna offers unmatched performance in real-world conditions,” Kendrick says. “As the sole distributor in Southern Africa, we had to ensure that as we introduced this game-changing brand to the region, we were able to also support our customers through robust remanufacturing capabilities and well-oiled parts supply capacity in a complete solution for our customers.”
Furthermore, the launch builds on CAS’s July 2025 introduction of Genie’s next-generation slab scissor lifts into Africa, reinforcing its role as the region’s leading provider of integrated lifting solutions.
“With the launch of Franna, the expansion of Genie, and the investment in our new remanufacturing and parts facilities, CAS is elevating excellence across every aspect of lifting, whether it’s people, heavy loads, or remanufactured value,” Kendrick concluded.
