MechChem Africa April 2020

On the April cover of MechChem Africa is global manufacturer of sensors, VEGA. Product manager for radar, Jürgen Skowaisa illustrates by way of a success story other ways to deal with the replacement of an existing sensor.

MechChem Africa also features articles from SKF, where Frans Odendaal argues that the quality to price ratio of SKF-branded components and solutions is the lowest that is available. We also look at the power of the connected mine – how advanced technology is helping Rockwell Automation connect its operations and maintain network uptime.

Also featured in this issue are articles from SEW-EURODRIVE, Bearings International, German company igus GmbH as well as Kwatani. For the Innovative engineering feature, a two-year project by VTT called BECCU will produce speciality chemicals from the CO2 produced during bioenergy production.
