Daimler Truck Southern Africa (DTSA) has reaffirmed its commitment to the health and wellbeing of truck drivers through its Fleet Owner Workplace Wellness Programme.
In collaboration with Trucking Wellness, DTSA has positively impacted thousands of truck drivers' lives by providing access to primary healthcare through various channels, including fixed roadside wellness centres and fully-fledged mobile units.
Recently, on April 19, Pool Transport proudly became the 10th customer to complete the DTSA Fleet Owner Workplace Wellness Programme. This milestone not only underscores the significant strides in enhancing driver health and safety within the transport industry but also highlights the practical benefits of the programme. Pool Transport's completion of the programme, under the guidance of the National Bargaining Council for the Road Freight and Logistics Industry (NBCRFLI)’s Trucking Wellness Project, marks a crucial achievement in prioritizing driver wellbeing.

Over the past 11 years, the programme has continuously evolved to meet emerging customer needs, with Pool Transport catalysing further enhancement.
