Plastics SA is pleased to announce the appointment of Dzunisani Portia Baloyi as its new Head of Finance based at the company’s head office in Midrand, Gauteng.
Portia is a registered SARS Tax Practitioner and a SAIPA Professional Accountant (SA). She holds an Advanced Diploma in Accounting Science obtained from UNISA, an Advanced Diploma in Financial Markets (University of Johannesburg), and a National Diploma in Internal Auditing (Vaal University of Technology).
Prior to joining the Plastics SA team, she previously worked at Mega High Voltage Technologies.
"The plastics industry is new to me, and I see it as an exciting opportunity to learn and broaden my horizons. Plastic has such a positive impact on our daily lives and I feel very honoured to be a part of a team that plays such an enormous role in positively impacting lives," Portia says.
Portia's interests outside of accounting included traveling, biking, swimming, cooking, and watching cooking shows. She describes herself as easy-going, goal-oriented, and open-minded.
