Leading Power Management Company Eaton launched its 2017 Mobile Technology Day Tour, a month-long mobile exhibition showcasing Eaton’s latest innovative technologies and solutions for the commercial buildings and utilities industries when the tour commences on Monday, 21 August 2017 at the Durban Royal Golf Club in Durban, South Africa.
The Eaton Mobile Tech Day is an innovative concept that combines accredited technical seminars and demonstrative exhibitions to address customers’ power management needs and allows for interactive discussions with industry experts. Visitors will be able to access detailed information about Eaton’s product offerings and engage and network with leading authorities in technical seminars.

“Our mobile exhibition will visit nine cities across the country bringing Eaton’s products and solutions directly to the customer, while also offering our customers and partners an opportunity to have face-to-face discussions about their business needs and challenges and get first hand support from our industry specialists” said Malvin Naicker, Sales Director for Africa at Eaton.
On the truck, Eaton will display a selection of their fire detection systems, event communication and emergency signalling systems, guidance for emergency evacuation and emergency disable assistance products all designed for use in commercial buildings. Also on display for residential protection, is Eaton’s surge protection, circuit protection, and distribution boards.
Another exhibition highlight this year is the Eaton xStorage solution for residential and commercial building applications, designed to be the most reliable and affordable home energy storage system. This complete system, housed in a single unit, integrates everything needed to manage and store energy. Further products on display include: Renewable energy solutions such as the Solar Installation Protection products, Rack, UPS’s and ePDU’s, IT Infrastructure Solutions for Power Quality and the Eaton Xiria E, our maintenance free, environmentally-friendly, extendible medium voltage switchgear solutions for the utilities segment.
