The Africa Energy Forum is set to take place this year in Nairobi, Kenya, from 20 to 23 June 2023. Already over 20 ministerial delegations from across the continent are scheduled to attend the event, including delegations from Kenya, South Africa, Egypt, Zambia, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Burkina Faso, and Nigeria. They will join energy leaders from the public and private sectors, utilities and regulators, development funding institutions and multilaterals.

The Africa Energy Forum will take place 20 to 23 June in Nairobi, Kenya.
The ministerial level discussion will touch on some of the pressing issues in ‘Uniting Africa’s Voice for COP28 – What outcomes does Africa want and need?’ This session will be moderated by the energy and banking sector leader Mr Kweku Awotwi, Board Chairman, United Bank for Africa (Ghana) & Co-Founder & Director Cenpower Generation Company (Republic of Ghana).
The open roundtable will establish a robust dialogue with the public sector actors to advance the pace of project development in the key markets in the region.
