Africa Automation Technology Fair (AATF) 2025 will take place 6 to 8 May at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand, Gauteng, South Africa. The theme this year is Future Ready Smart Solutions, focusing on the innovations and technologies that will shape the future of automation and industrial processes.
Alongside the exhibition floor showcasing leading automation solutions, game-changing insights will be found in the conference halls. The fair offers a platform for industry professionals to engage with global thought leaders, to learn about the latest trends, and to gain knowledge beyond what is presented on the exhibition floor.
This year, the conference is set to turn the spotlight onto industrial automation, manufacturing, and security with four dedicated tracks.

- Dr Devon Hagedorn-Hansen is a leading expert in additive manufacturing and laser powder bed fusion. He has played a role in advancing 3D printing across industries such as aerospace, medical, and oil & gas.
- Andisa Liba, Chief People Officer at Floatpays and is an advocate for sustainable business practices and specialises in AI-driven workforce optimisation and energy-efficient operations. Recognised as one of Africa’s Most Influential Women in Digital Transformation, she brings to the conference a unique perspective on green automation and ESG integration.
- Michel Mafoumba, a mechatronics automation engineer and entrepreneur, has spearheaded numerous automation projects, from smart agriculture systems to industrial robotics and AI-driven energy management.
