The South African Energy Efficiency Confederation, SAEEC, is preparing for the 2025 SAEEC 20th Annual Conference and has issued a call to members, energy engineers and energy professionals to consider submitting an abstract or paper for presentation.
One of the focus tracks for the upcoming SAEEC Conference is energy management in the industrial environment.
The conference will be held on 2 and 3 October 2025 at the Lesedi Cultural Village, Lanseria, Johannesburg. The theme for this year is: ‘Engineering the future: Energy efficiency in the circular economy’.
Planned conference tracks will look at:
- Power systems and mini grids
- Industry 4.0 and IoT
- Waste to energy
- Energy management in the industrial environment
- Climate change and engineering the future
- Measurement and Verification, and Carbon taxes
The SAEEC invites interested parties to participate in this event which every year, brings together industry leaders, innovators, and experts to discuss and share insights on the critical role of energy efficiency, this year specifically within the circular economy framework.
