The Southern African Energy Efficiency Confederation (SAEEC) has launched the SAYES mentorship programme designed to bridge the gap between seasoned professionals and emerging leaders in both the Energy and Water sectors. Mentors and mentees are encouraged to sign up now.
“Whether you’re looking for guidance or aiming to give back by becoming a mentor, this program is your opportunity to grow and make a lasting impact,” said SAEEC.
The Southern African Youth in Energy Sector (SAYES) programme was established to become the local representative networking group for the youth to drive change in previously disadvantaged communities. The objective of the SAYES portfolio is to empower young individuals by providing them with opportunities for skill development, job creation, and sustainable livelihoods within the clean energy industry. This includes fostering vocational training, mentorship programs, and creating an enabling environment for youth-led initiatives.
“By actively involving youth, the portfolio aims to contribute to sustainable development and a greener future.”
