PlasterKey, a universal water-based bonding agent, is the industry benchmark which has been designed specifically for use in the building industry to bond sand/cement plaster and gypsum plaster to smooth surfaces.

Plasterkey ApplBenefits of using PlasterKey include:

• Improving the non-structural bond of cement and gypsum plasters.
• Not requiring smooth surfaces to be chipped prior to application.
• It adheres to sound PVA surfaces.
• It is easy to use.
• It saves time!

Surface preparation: All surfaces should be free of loose particles and flaking material. Wire brush and rinse the surface if necessary.
Soffits and vertical surfaces: Coat the prepared surfaces with PlasterKey after dust has been removed and apply a scratch coat whilst the PlasterKey is still wet. Allow the scratch coat to dry and then plaster in the usual manner.

Gypsum-based plaster surfaces: Apply the PlasterKey to the prepared surface and plaster straight onto the wet PlasterKey, finishing off in a single operation.
PlasterKey can be added directly to the sand/cement plaster mix (10 % of water content) to obtain a stronger bond. It can be applied by brush or roller and covers approximately 10 m² per litre.

Use gloves and eye protection at all times. Should the product come into contact with eyes, wash immediately with water and seek medical advice.
