LESCO (Light Electrical Switch Company) Manufacturing, is reaffirming its commitment to the country with a number of initiatives in 2021. The company manufactures and distributes a wide range of innovative electrical products and accessories for the South African domestic market, including all major retailers and electrical wholesalers. LESCO Manufacturing is a 3rd generation company, founded by David Shapiro in 1999, which manufactures and supplies adapters, switches and sockets, multiplugs, USB adapters, circuit breakers and electrical accessories. Its heritage stems from Switch King, which was founded by Natie Shapiro, David’s father, in 1958. The company is currently run by David’s son, Jonathan.
