Mohammed Sali-Ameen has been lighting and electrical giant Signify’s Market Leader Sub-Saharan Africa for just under a year, and in that time he has helped steer the brand towards a strong new year. “We are expecting to grow at about 12% in 2024. We have seen the industry growing at about 8%, but we think that we can do a little bit better,” he says. “We are opening new markets today; it will be organic business that we are going to capture in these markets.”
